Wield will celebrate the Queen’s Jubilee as follows:

1. Thursday 2nd May the Jubilee Beacon will be lit at 2145hrs on the village green. Click on link for more information - or click here.

2. Saturday 4th Jun St James Church Upper Wield, 0939-1830hrs Royal Decoration

3. Sunday 5th June:        Note the road through Upper Wield will be closed for the duration.

0930-1030 hrs Jubilee church service, St James Upper Wield

1045 - 1830hrs. Church Royal  Decoration

1030 - 1830hrs Geddes Barn, Talent Exhibition

1230-1430  Village Green  “ Jubilee Big Lunch

Bring your own. Find your own spot on the grass or bring a table, chairs maybe even a small gazebo. Bring your own food, lashings of drink and enough to share!

Enjoy the Band and the many events of the day.

Including: Wield Group Photo.  - The Queen’s Jubilee Pudding Competition  -   Classic Car Exhibition - Tug of War Competition - Jubilee Trees dedication by the Bishop of Winchester

Loyal Toast with sparkling wine generously donated by Hattingley Valley of Wield.

Wield Memorabilia - An Exhibition in Geddes Barn.

Tea available from the Village Hall
Followed by a chance to see Wield Cricketers in action at the Cricket Pitch.
Yew Tree open as usual.
